Last Day

I'm in Indiana air port and writing this blog now. Today is our last day of study abroad in Rose-Hulman. Finally, We ate dinner and took pictures with local students. And I played table tennis with Li(Chinese student in Rose-Hulman). I often played it with him for this three weeks. But I could't win against him. I want to thank him for having taken care of in various situations. farewell was very sad, but I'm glad I came here. I want to make use of what I learned here in University of Aizu.

Steak

Today I and other freshman went to Walmart and Steak restaurant. At First, We went to Walmart. I bought souvenir for my friends and family and clothes for me and my younger brother.  I was surprised that there are not many employees in the store. And then, We went to the Steak restaurant,(I forgot store's name) and I ordered Sirloin Steak.(11 oz. Medium)  It was very thick and big and delicious! And I think it was wonderful that everyone celebrates birthday people.

　Cooking

Yesterday, We cooked Japanese food for student and professor in Rose-Hulman.  Foods that we made are Udon, Soba, Tempura and White rise. These foods expect Udon were good taste. Udon was very bad taste. It's the most bad food I have ever eaten. So We did't serve it. And I want to recommend next year's study abroad students don't make Udon. Students in Rose said "It's good". I was happy to hear that.

Indianapolis

Today, we went to Indianapolis. At first,  we toured Museum. In Museum, I saw a lot of exhibit related to Native American, for example picture and clothes. After that, We walk around the city. We did shopping in the large mall and climb to the  tall tower without using escalator. It makes my legs very tired, But the view from observatory was wonderful. And today is St Patrick's day so there were many people wearing green clothes. It was strange for me.

St Patrick's Day

Today, I wanna talk about St Patrick's Day because March 7th is this holiday. This day is death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland. In America, people wear green clothes and shamrock and drink beer in this holiday. I wonder at this holiday because there is no holiday related to religion in Japan.(Maybe) Global office invited us to party and served sweet and green juice. It was good but too sweet. I think it it's great to celebrate public holiday.

Hamburger

Today, I went hamburger shop with Li(Chinese student at Rose). I forgot shop name but I think that is popular shop here because there were many local people. I ordered Western BBQ Bacon Steakburger, chicken finger, potato and soft drink(Sprite). The hamburger was the best one I have ever eaten. And I was surprised that employee was very friendly. For example, She said "Hey my friend, Are you OK?". At last, I paid 1 dollar as tips because the service was very good.

Chicago

I wanna talk about Chicago because We went to go Chicago yesterday. 7:15 We gathered. I did not sleep yesterday because I was afraid that get up late. 11:30 We went Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. I thought it is great place for children to learn Science. 13:30 We walk around Chicago. We ate pizza and did shopping. I was happy to be able to wee TRUMP TOWER. It was very very tall. And Mentor said "I don't like TRUMP".
